Prayers Please

A couple prayer requests:

1) To Saint Anthony. In a post 9/11 age, I don't think they allow too many people on airplanes without identification... I think you get the picture.

2) Assuming 1 gets answered, please pray that I have a safe flight. As most of you know, I don't exactly enjoy flying, so if you could please help me out here, it'd be much appreciated.

Couldn't find a Motley Crue video that wasn't offensive, so I'll just write the words...

I'm on my waa-aa-aay... I'm on my waaa-aaa-aay... Home Sweet Hooooome.... Tonight Tonight... I'm on my waaa-aaay... I'm on my waa-aay... Home sweet Hooome.

See you back in Seattle...

UPDATE: St. Anthony asked Jesus to take care of number 1, and he delivered. So please move on to number 2.

Breaking the Silence...

Hello. Just thought I'd come out of my semi-blog retirement to let everyone know that Lent has been as hard as I expected, but things are going really well. The ol' prayer life has been a bit better, and it seems to be affecting my studies, and my pastoral assignment, which is going really well. Chalk it up to Grace, I guess.

I'm not going to comment on the Zags. It was kind of lame watching them go down... but it wasn't really that lame. It was a great year as far as "Re-Building" years go. I'm proud of them.

I'm also proud of the kids at WWU. By kids of course I mean College students. When I was at Western my friend Jamie started teaching some of John Paul II's philosophy on the human person, and it has continued. ITs kind of a Spring tradition around the place. I was told their first meeting had about 40 students there. They even started a Theology of the Body blog complete with audio of their talks. Keep up the good work you guys. I'm praying for you all.

So thats that. Thank you all for your prayers. Thanks for your e-mails. I really appreciate it.
