Ugh....

Wow. It is incredible what ideas people can come up with...

Holy smokes. Where do you begin with this one. How about that Nobody used a cup to catch Christ's blood as he died on the cross.

From the book's website:

Cotten is propelled into the headlines as she and John deliver the Cup to the Vatican for authentication, and she reports the story of its journey from Calvary to cable TV. But her life quickly becomes caught up in a global plot driven by an ancient sect devoted to bringing about the Second Coming. As those around her fall victim to the Grail Conspiracy, Cotten soon learns her true legacy and must question if she is stopping an abomination or is she working on the side of Evil. In the final conflict she learns why she is the only one who can stop the ultimate revenge against God by the Prince of Darkness.

I don't think this book will be as popular as the Da Vinci Code though. For one, it is too outlandish. For twon, based on the sample chapters, it isn't really that well written. Wait a second... Outlandish.. Not very well written... this IS like the Da Vinci code.

This is just like that planet of the apes... Wait a second. Statue of Liberty! That was our planet! AHHHHH!

Good thoughts. If Genesis 3 is any indication, we should never underestimate the ability of humanity to fall for the rediculous.
